Learning from the environment teaches us about our world, our responsibilities and manaakitanga/care and respect for God, others and ourselves.
HEALTHY KAI FROM THE GARDEN
Students learn to grow plants from seeds, and nurture the garden to produce kai. From the garden to the table, we learn that growing our own food is valuable learning time, and eating it is lots of fun!

Identify pests and minimise impact.

BEE FRIENDS-
TAHI NEW ZEALAND
Tamariki experience rich learning through the Bee Friends programme, run by Tahi New Zealand. Students learn about the important plants and flowers bees need, care for hives and watch as bees create liquid gold - yummy honey for our students and whanau to enjoy.
